Description

This is an integration of all image effect, including Banner, Slider Show, Rotate, Cycle, gallery and so on.

Features

It can support adding title and description for images and it can also order images.
W3C xhtml Validated
It can support adding or deleting effect plug-in. It can also allow customing different skins for each effect.
It can allow exporting zip file of plug-in and zip file of skins.
It includes different settings for each effect plug-in.
Support browsers IE, FireFox, Safari, Opera and Netscape Navigator

Install Module

After you download this module, you will get below installation zip file. DNNGo.EffectCollection_3.0_PA(21 effect in 1).zip
If your site is DNN4.x or DNN5.x, please go to this page Host -> Module Definition and click ”Install Module” button to upload this module.
If your site is DNN6.x, you need to go here Host -> Extensions and click “Install Extension Wizard” button to install.

It's the frontpage of module.

Manage Center -> Manage Image Page

This is the page of management. You can operate, such as editing, deleting and ordering images, Bulk Upload Images, Backup Or Restore Content.

Manage Center -> Add/Edit Image Page

You can fill title, description, order for images. And you can also upload one image here.

Manage Center -> Effect Settings Page

You can install new effect plug-in and new theme of each plug-in here. You can also export zip file of plug-in and zip file of skins. It allows you to delete plug-in and skins. You can also define to display which effect and apply which skins. You can options for each plug-in here.

Manage Center -> Available Effects

You can choose and use which kind of effect here. And you can delete and export this effect.

Manage Center -> Module Settings

You can go here and configure this module, please see below screenshot.

Manage Center -> Install New Effects

You can install a new effect here.

Manage Center -> Install New Theme

You can install a new theme for current effect here.

Manage Center -> License

You can activate your module here. Before activation, please provide your Machine Key and send an e-mail to dnnskindev@gmail.com to ask for License.

Do you have any instructions specific to each of the modules in the effect collection. If not, is this the right forum to ask specific questions?

My first question is whether the image size, lets say 150 x 150, requires each input image to be a square. If the actual image is 150 x 300, does the image get compressed in height and show up as distorted or does the program allow different image heights. This will be used on a vertical scroller

Hi Thomas,
I'm sorry for my delay reply as we're on holiday these days.
For each effect in our effect collection module, you go to here http://www.dnngo.net/OurModules/EffectCollection.aspx and download zip file for each effect module, then user guide is included.
For your question above, we suggest that you'd better uploading images with the same size. In module settings, you can configure width and height for compressed images and it will take action in bulk upload. You can play with the module and see which parts can't meet your need.

irrWKbTrying to do a bulk image upload for the image scroller. Getting an error 500 every time I try it. Also, when I bought this module I assumed, probable wrongly, that there were not Flash Modules. I am trying to create a Flash free website. So.... how many of the effects collection are flash.

Hi,
Thanks for your question above.
It doesn’t include flash in our Effect Collection module. For bulk upload, we do use FLASH upload. For your error above, can you please download latest version of this module package? Please go here http://www.dnngo.net/OurModules/EffectCollection.aspx and download latest version of module. If you still have question with using latest version, please provide URL and host login account of your site. Then we can login and check it.
